Local government
in and around Wolverhampton

Willenhall
Willenhall was governed
by a local board believed to have been set up in 1854. An urban
district council was established in 1894 which lasted until 1934
when the town was absorbed into the Borough of Walsall, although
some parts of Willenhall fell within the boundary of Wolverhampton.
